New England News: Keeping up with Matt Driscoll
Off the Map Tattoo (New England) resident artist Matt Driscoll has been dealing with the harsh Northeast winter like a boss! Lucky for him, warmer weather is on the horizon for Matt as his upcoming travels deliver him back to his native California for guest spots and catching up with his Lake Elsinore friends. While Matt is taking on a limited number of new clients here in Massachusetts, his travels may be just the thing to give you the opportunity to get a bad ass new tattoo from this talented artist. Matt casually refers to himself as a “real school” artist, and is interested in doing large scale tattoos that ecompass realism and bold imagery. Throw some laser beams, ray guns or prehistoric subject matter into the tattoo idea mix and watch as the giddy kid in Matt comes out. Check out this gorgeous bush viper (mid shed) tattoo Matt recently did.
Matt will be heading off on February 9th and he is stoked to have a guest spot booked along the way at the amazing Analog Tattoo in San Jose, California. He will be tattooing alongside the talented folks there on February 14th and 15th. If you're interested in snagging a spot with him while he's at Analog Tattoo, give them a buzz at 408-292-7766 and they will set you up. You can also email Matt directly.
After his stint in Cali, he will pop back into Mass for a few days before heading to Paris, France! He will be attending the Mondail Du Tatouage show with another OTM resident, Tim Senecal. These fine young gents will be at the Paris show March 7th – 9th 2014. If you're attending the show and want to catch up with either (or both) Matt or Tim, shoot them an email (click their name for a direct link). Tim Senecal is responsible for this intergalactic tattoo; Love at First Encounter - A Space Drama.
So show Matt some love while he's in California and beyond! If you're local to our Massachusetts location and want to get in on an appointment with Matt, contact the studio to get on his wait list. Or better yet, bring us your awesome “real school” laser inspired, dinosaur tattoo idea and we'll get you on the books for the summer!
