Ryan Douglas Jacque, a native New Englander, was born August 14, 1971 in Northhampton, Massachusetts. Ryan Jacque specializes in painstakingly detailed graphite pencil renderings of New England birds & mammals, and commisioned portaits. His work may be best described as painting in pencil; His scenes are rendered almost exclusively in meticulous shading, with little or no line work. Often mistaken for a photographic technique, his style creates a unique and endlessly compelling work of art. Ryan is Off the Map's first apprentice. He is currently only tattooing friends and family, but please contact him if you want to get on his waiting list.
